Running Light is about enforced labour and displaced persons, in two places, in two periods of the 20th century. Using audio interviews with war survivors recorded by the film maker in 1984, the film makes parallels between the spoken words and the repetition of simple black and white imagery. The question asked by the film is: Can anyone say stop (without disappearing)? A film about enforced labour and displaced persons in two places, and periods, in the 20th Century.
