Man of Stones
by Finch, David
Man of Stones' is about growing up: the great mystery, the world, becomes matter-of-fact, it is the self which becomes mysterious. The man of stones dies and becomes the self -- a magical image of the world, but also a mortal, difficult, one-sided archetype, because I never really saw how he could have made himself, all by himself.
