Consisting largely of a single set up taken at a distance from a level crossing, the film transforms a natural environment into an artificial one by means of time exposures in conjunction with optical printing. "From an original 100ft roll of film of a level crossing I optically stretch printed the material to relativistically expend the time compressed by the lengthy exposure of each frame to the low artificial to natural light."
